This is okay but I prefer Diez Cuentos de Eva Luna, for the stories, plus all the tarea. Excelente! Also just purchased similar item: El Cuento Hisp�nico. These two are a little more advanced than Graded Spanish Reader so depends on what you are looking for.

Received damaged book but the content in all in tact.

The book came with the back cover sliced in half and then taped back together. The book is supposed to be brand new and now I'm not sure if I will be able to sell it after I'm done using it because of this flaw. The content of the book is undamaged though.

This is just sad

This book is so riddled with typos, ambiguous sentences, and bias that it is hard to read. It clearly was not proofread more than a few times and sometimes the book sounds like it was written by someone who has not quite attained fluency in English. The section on Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon is so loaded with pro-Israel propaganda it is almost insulting to pass this off as a fact-based, university level textbook. The Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi (the latter of which favored collaboration with Nazi Germany and all of which were paramilitary/terrorist organizations) did "wantonly attack civilians" and expel hundreds of thousands of Arabs from their homes in Palestine (Deir Yassin, anyone?) The King David hotel bombing is passed off as an act to "draw attention to the worsening situation in Palestine," an insult to the 91 innocent people who died in the bombing. But does the book give that much attention to these attacks by Zionist terror groups? No. Instead it obsesses over Hamas and stresses how all the group wants to do is destroy Israel. It even says the 2014 Gaza attacks were motivated by "Hamas kidnappings and attacks" when Hamas had absolutely nothing to with the deaths of three Jewish settler boys in the West Bank (not to mention that Israel killed over a thousand Gazan civilians compared to just 6 Israeli civilian casualties). Apparently Palestinians must accept Zionist theft of their land and ethnic cleansing or they are terrorists.

Excellent technical manual for the enthusiast

As a Lancia/Fiat enthusiast,this book gives me all the technical know how to safely modify where the author has been and experimented with these excellent twincam motors. Guy Croft runs a large tuning shop for these engines and the book is his exhaustive results of what works and what doesnt, and what results can be expected. Very technical, very thorough, this is a book that will save the enthusiast a fortune by avoiding mistakes in getting more power out of a TC motor. The only other company that have ever done so much modifying to these engines,Abarth, have never revealed any of their findings to the public in this manner, which makes this the only book on the subject to my knowledge ( apart from workshop manuals) A rare find indeed! Comprehensive, addressing all areas of incresing performance

Having met Guy and having him modify my Fiat TC was occuring as the book was being written. This book reflect guy's no-nonsense sceintific approach to enginge modification and shares his experience such that I felt confident to build up my own engine after he had done the machining. Information in this book is clear and detailed and would apply to many other engines as well. This is in the same top-flight rank as Vizard's books on the BMC A series...maybe better. Neil Roshier
