"Seinfeld" Reference book very well researched.

Very comprehensive. Exactly what I was looking for. I wish it had been published in a normal size, though. It's too cumbersome to take on trips to doctor's offices, restaurants, etc. I know; I've tried it. But the author did an excellent research job, unlike the authors of books on other sitcoms. I've only found a couple of minor errors.

Dr. Ciampa has worked in the IT industry as a computer consultant for the U.S. Postal Service, the Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service, and the University of Tennessee. He is also the author of many Cengage/Course Technology books, including Security+ Guide to Network Security Fundamentals; CWNA Guide to Wireless LANs, 3e; CWSP Guide to Wireless Security; Guide to Wireless Communications; and Networking BASICS. Good resource to add to any information security awareness program

Security awareness is a vital part of information security. Just how important is it? In September, the 10-day SANS Security Awareness Summit 2014 will cover every aspect of the topic.

For those that want to get an appreciation for the topic but can’t make it to Dallas for the Summit, Security Awareness: Applying Practical Security in Your World is a good resource for the reader that wants both an understanding of the theoretical awareness issues, and how to practically address them.

Author Mark Ciampa is a computer science professor Western Kentucky University with an expansive background on the topic.

The book has an awareness focus for Windows users. The reader is expected to be somewhat technical, and relatively comfortable with using Windows tools.

For those looking for a mid-level reference on the topic, a book that’s not too basic, and also not so broad, Security Awareness: Applying Practical Security in Your World is a good resource to add to any information security awareness program.

I traded this in to Amazon because it helped me pass my CSI class with flying colors so, I didn't need it anymore. But if your going into the computer sciences, I definitely recommend. With technology expanding so rapidly, we tend to forget that we need to protect the information that we share. I love that there are tons of scenarios in this book that relate to today.

This is not a book, and certainly NOT an "Ultimate Guide" to OneNote.

It is simply a short, text-only essay on the principal features of the software.

No diagrams, screen shots or other visual aids. An amazingly lame effort, obviously slapped together to quickly generate cash. More amazing are the plethora of positive reviews of this largely worthless "effort".

Do not waste your money.

Disappointed considering what the title and description say

I was expecting an 'Ultimate' guide detailing all the various nuances of One Note. This is a very general, high level review of One Note's capabilities. Only 85 pages of large text. Last 10+ pages are mostly key stroke shortcuts. Disappointed considering what the title and description say. Looking for another book now.

About the Author
Kathy Alba, a native of Los Angeles, received her B.A. summa cum laude in English (with minors in psychology and French) from Oregon State University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English and linguistics from the University of North Carolina.

One of Kathy’s main professional focuses is her teaching, having been an award-winning adjunct professor of English in several colleges and universities across Kansas for some seventeen years. She speaks with authority but always with passion and the belief that only humor can make learning into an adventure rather than a pain in the neck, that if you’re laughing, you’ll probably be relaxed enough to understand and take in new, even complex ideas. In response to the needs of her students and people in the larger community, she has written this off-the-wall book on "empowered" English and another on study skills. As director of Bear Hollow Educational Systems—a nationwide seminar series designed for corporations, college campuses, and city groups—she speaks with compassion and uses the book to inspire, nurture, and help people move closer to their personal fulfillment.

Her other primary focus is writing. Concertos in D Major, a relationship novel about a lovely violinist on the wild north coast of Oregon, may be ordered from Amazon.com or bookstores now. She currently resides at ivy-covered Bear Hollow in Wichita, Kansas with her husband, several beloved dogs and uncountable stuffed bears. Her son is a medical student and classical violinist.

If I could, I would give the book 2.5 stars. The author does a good job on trying to keep the reader entertained with the examples she uses, however, at times I feel she overdoes it. The book could be better organized. She jumps from one topic to next uncontrollably, at times, leaving the reader hanging. For a book on English, I'm surprised by her lengthy sentences and paragraph structure. Her paragraphs often focus on multiple topics. It's also hard to keep up with her train of thoughts. Sometimes I wonder if she was on a caffeine high when she was writing it. She just overdoes it. For example, it's cute the first couple times she says repeat "I saw him, I saw him, I saw him." After a couple chapters, these quirks get to be a little annoying. (My students' would have received a failing grade had their paragraphs and sections lacked this much focus.)

Her pictures of teddy bears on every page are just a complete waste of space. I can tell the author is a sweet, gentle and nice lady, but her book is written for a less educated audience. I was very disappointed after receiving the book. I thought it would be a book about learning to talk with power, confidence and prestige, but Kathy only uses examples that you should already have learned in elementary school. For example, I had eaten, I went versus I had gone. It's a waste to purchase it if you know basic English. She also brings up German grammar and compares it to English, which is completely irrelevant. She's demonstrating her knowledge of other languages, not helping you to improve your English.

Interesting to read history written in 1900

This is a grade school text book. It is neat to see what was emphasized over 100 years ago. The notes to teachers, such as suggesting a Civil War veteran speak to the class, are pretty cool, too.
